The 2021 Festival is official.
Join us on September 17-18!
As safety concerns for meeting and gathering a group from far and wide remain much longer than we ever anticipated, the Kansas Storytelling Festival decided to postpone the spring event to this fall so we could present a weekend full of all your favorite elements of the Festival with consideration for everyone's health and safety.
2021 Festival features a great lineup!
We know you were looking forward to listening to the line-up we had planned for you in 2020. Tim Lowry, Dan Keding, Anne Rutherford, Adam Booth, and Regi Carpenter all in one Festival weekend was something we were looking forward to as well, so we contracted those same tellers for the 2021 Festival this fall and they will enthusiastically tell those pent-up stories with all the talent you have come to expect on the Kansas Storytelling stage.
27th Annual Festival is scheduled!
The Kansas Storytelling Festival is normally scheduled every year for the last full weekend in April. Unfortunately, this spring's festival is postponed for a little while longer, and we will welcome you to Downs on September 17-18, 2021, for a full event featuring the professional tellers slated for last year and all the audience favorites, like the Tall Tale Contest, Local Legends, Master Storytellers, Story Shed and more!
Please save the dates for a magical weekend of stories and hometown hospitality in Downs!
